This Privacy and Cookies Policy explains how ProfileLoom ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use this website and its portrait-generation features.

1. Information We Collect Through The Service

When you generate a portrait, we process the portrait type and platform you select, the PNG or JPG photo you upload, optional prompt preferences you provide, generated output images, download links, and generation metadata such as the request ID, selected scene, model name, and processing status.

Uploaded photos and generated portraits are used to process your request, display the result, provide a download, maintain your creation history, troubleshoot failures, protect the service from abuse, and improve reliability. An account is required to generate portraits and use credits.

2. Information We Collect On The Site

When you sign in, we process account details supplied by your chosen provider, such as your name, email address, profile image, provider account identifier, session information, credit balance, credit transactions, purchases, and generation history. We may also collect basic site and technical information, including browser type, operating system, IP address, referring page, timestamps, file type, file size, request duration, error logs, and general interaction data. If you contact us or submit a support request, we may also process the contact details and message content you provide.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to authenticate users, grant welcome credits, maintain balances and transaction records, provide the portrait generator, route requests to the correct generation model, validate uploads, create and store output files, provide downloads, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, diagnose errors, secure the service, and improve the user experience.

4. Storage And Third-Party Processing

Uploaded source photos and generated outputs may be stored in object storage so the service can complete the generation workflow and provide access to the result. We use third-party infrastructure and AI processing providers, including Cloudflare services for hosting/storage and Replicate or model providers for portrait generation. These providers process information only as needed to operate the service.

We may also disclose information to service providers that help with hosting, security, analytics, troubleshooting, customer support, or other operational needs. We do not sell your uploaded photos, prompts, generated portraits, or personal information.

5. Cookies, Pixels, And Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Pixels and similar technologies can help understand whether a page was viewed or how the site is used. We may use strictly necessary cookies or similar storage to operate the site, keep you signed in, remember basic preferences, secure requests, measure performance, and understand usage patterns.

We use Umami for cookie-free, anonymous, aggregate site analytics, including page views, referrers, device categories, country-level location, and product events. Umami does not receive uploaded photos, prompts, email addresses, signed image URLs, URL query parameters, or URL fragments, and its tracker respects the browser's Do Not Track setting.

With your permission, we also use Google Analytics and advertising measurement to understand visits, product events, purchases, attribution, and campaign performance. Google events do not include uploaded photos, prompts, email addresses, or signed image URLs. Google Consent Mode communicates whether analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization are allowed. Server-side purchase measurement is sent to Google only when analytics storage was granted when checkout began. When permission is not granted, Google may still receive limited cookieless consent and measurement signals for aggregate modeling.

6. Your Choices

You can choose not to upload a photo or provide optional prompt details. Only upload photos that you own or have permission to use, and avoid uploading sensitive images or photos of other people without permission. You can choose "Allow analytics & ads" or "No Google cookies" in the privacy preferences banner and change that choice later through the Privacy settings control in the site footer. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings or enable Do Not Track to prevent Umami tracking.

7. Legal Requests, Safety, And Business Transfers

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a good-faith request from a public authority. We may also disclose information when we believe it is necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, investigate suspected misuse, enforce our terms, or protect the service. If the service is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

8. Third-Party Links And Embedded Content

The site may link to third-party websites, model providers, payment providers, or embedded services. Their privacy practices are not controlled by us. Review their policies before providing information to those third parties.

9. Information Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by unauthorized parties.

10. International Transfers

The service and its providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred and processed internationally as needed to provide the service.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information associated with you. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or opt out of marketing communications.
